Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In later years, she was employed by WCBD as anchor for the morning show and as a crime reporter. The stories she reported in Charleston regarding the police's tolerance in DUI cases prompted a State Law Enforcement Division to investigate. The result was state authorities issuing more strict regulations in these cases. Ms. O'Dell received her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. Following her work in Charleston O'Dell worked as a anchor and investigative reporter at the NBC Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor and a weekday reporter. O'Dell, in addition to anchoring the main show for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. She's reported on the Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted various pre-show arrivals shows to The Emmys And The Golden Globes. She co-hosted both the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
